I am writing this blog from the world famous Opryland Hotel in Nashville, TN. We are down here for some r&r with our Farmers Insurance fellow agents and district manager. Also, met up with my high school buddy, Tom Huebel and his wife Barb. Barb prepared a fabulous meal for us yesterday and they both showed us around Nashville that afternoon. We took in the General Jackson Riverboat cruise that evening with the Farmers bunch. Just a great time!

Since my last post I have been to Vegas for the National Association for Photoshop Professionals called Photoshop World. This was a great event! It was fun and also a great learning experience. To be able to meet and learn from the best photographers and photoshop people in the world was a blast.

In the coming weeks, I will be in St Charles, MO videoing a wedding and also will again be videoing the Bethel Assembly of God Christmas program in early December.

Editing

Well, Photoshop World Conference is about 2 weeks away. I will be attending the bi-annual show for the first time. I am looking forward to learning and observing photographers from all over the world at the Vegas convention.
This week I am working on a photo montage for a 40 year mother. Using several software programs to come up with the video montage. Scanning and editing photos in photoshop is a very time consuming procedure but is a must if you want the montage to look sharp and standout. Also, I have been shooting video of the fall sports at the local high school. The booster club has an all sports banquet at the end of the school year and I provide the video highlights for the program. Thats all for now,
Catch you next Friday!

This week I traveled to St Louis and attended David Ziser's Wake Up Call photography seminar. I follow Mr. Ziser's blog everyday and admire his passion and insight on wedding photography.
If you have an chance to go, I strongly urge you to attend. Very informative and at $59 for 4+ hours of information about photography and promoting your business.
